Welcome back to another New Comics Wednesday (two in a row! Huzzah!), and to the first installment in what will hopefully prove to be a long-running series of one page, standalone “idea” strips, which will fall under the umbrella title Anything is Everything Else. While some characters will no doubt pop up repeatedly, the concern here isn’t to create a “world” or “universe” laden with continuity, but instead to be able to freely explore the ideas and influences--both stylistic and thematic, not to mention conscious and unconscious--floating around in my brain. I hope you enjoy, but either way, let me know what you think. Yo-ho!

  1. did you do the art work...? its killer, i love the simple black and i guess under the sea for centuries pirates booty yellow, your eye for style is really cool...i dig.

  2. Thanks for the kind words. The artwork is indeed my own. I was happy with the simple pencil work of this one at first, but now I'm kind of thinking it should've been inked...
