PIPE DOPE #120

First          Previous          Next

Sorry this one's so late. (I dated it back to Wednesday so it'd line up correctly with the previous four posts, but you and I'll always know it was actually posted on Saturday the 20th.) Work called me to Cleveland for a few days, which was a welcome trip, indeed, although it did keep me away from my drawing board. This coming week still looks to be zany, but at least I'll be staying put, and I'll do my best to be consistent and get #121 up sooner rather than later. Many thanks to everyone reading this for your patience and understanding as my schedule continues to be put through the proverbial wringer.

And without further ado, thumbnails!

PIPE DOPE #119

There's still one more post to go this week, but I've gotta skip town for a business trip. I'll be back on the Left Coast on Thursday night, and I should get #120 online sometime on Friday. Sorry for the wonky schedule!

My Uncle Max didn't look anything like that, but I don't have a photo of him handy. Sorry, one and all. On a lighter note, that shirt of my dad's was pretty terrific; I wore it proudly through much of high school.

This one took a while. 24 people I'm related to. Apologies to anyone I didn't have room for. Also, apologies to everyone I did get on the page...

PIPE DOPE #116

First          Previous          Next

Sorry for the delay between posts, friends. I had a big ol' deadline for the actual day job and, well, my sleepless nights had to be devoted to that instead of Pipe Dope. But we're back! At least for this week, anyway. I've mentioned it before, but it bears repeating: My schedule's all kinds of wonky between now and October, but once we hit mid-October, this whole operation's gonna be running like clockwork. (I hope.)

Also, for anyone wondering, it is indeed Captain America #395 at the top of that stack of comics, the issue that featured "the house that dripped--dough?!"

And so the AAF makes it through another week relatively unscathed. As I've previously mentioned, there's an awful lot shaking these days, so I suspect there won't be another post until mid-week. (I'm aiming for Wednesday, but it's really anybody's guess right now.) In the meantime, here's a look at the thumbnails for the past five posts:

Thanks as always for reading, and if you like what you see, please let other folks know about Pipe Dope. There's plenty more still to come!

So, I've finally stepped up and joined the 21st century--I now have a Google+ account. We'll see how it goes. Having passed on both MySpace and Facebook, this is kinda new and crazy for me, but so far it seems fun.

PIPE DOPE #111

Welcome back! Sorry I didn't get things rolling again in time for the usual (?) Monday-through-Friday posts, but so it goes. These next couple of months are gonna be especially wonky on my end, and I'm just gonna go ahead and say that the posting schedule here is gonna get ... creative. Anyhow, I hope you all stick around for the ride, and if you enjoy what you see, please share Pipe Dope with more folks.

Oh, yeah, and when I said that #110 marked the halfway point, that might not have been entirely accurate. During my week of not posting, I took another hard look at the outline, and there was one week that doesn't quite seem to fit, so it looks like we're actually past the halfway point, and the story will end with #215. Let's just say that everything's subject to change and leave it at that...
