I don't know where my fear of spiders came from, but it persists to this day--fueled, no doubt, by a run-in I had with a black widow a few years ago. Things might be different had I wound up with super powers. Anyhow, the scar's pretty cool.

    Love the framing here, with your young self entering a dark cavern. And yes, spiders are creepy.
